Pale Side of Noon by Adam Levon Brown

Pale Side of Noon

Dark Wintry haven
for trench coats in black

Mirrored sunglasses kiss the
falling snowflakes

Icicles form on the brows
of ghastly visages;

Eyebrows seeking
redemption in the pull

of the moon.
Distance covered by

Drugged feet in
the snow.

Danse Macabre
of Winter’s teeth

The Sun melts away
the beginning and the end.
