Osmotic Death by Adam Levon Brown

Osmotic Death

The stars open their mouths
as twilight caresses the moon
with velvet-laden fingers

Sun-kissed sanctuaries
of nebular Ketosis splatter
across the canvass of the galaxy

Solar radiation cradles
the moon in its
juggernaut arms

Dancing along
the serrated edge
of the Milky way,

Black hole subjugation
leaves a mortuary in
its cosmic wake
