MOVING ON by Ann Christine Tabaka

MOVING ON

I have cried my last tear
I will not let pain win
I will pick myself up
I will put on a grin
I will learn to be strong
I will not give in
I will conceal my heart
I will hold up my chin
I will say goodbye to the old
And a new life begin
I have cried my last tear

  1. Probably not … for example I found myself in tears while listening to Jadyn Rylee (with drumming by Sina) sing “The Sound of Silence” (my all-time favourite song) … tears come at various times … however this is a nifty poem … may your future tears be ones of joy! Cheers! DaP

  2. Thank you DaP. I was referring to a particular situation that I have finished crying over. I am sure that I will find other occasions to cry in the future, but not over this one!
