Midnight Noir by Adam Levon Brown

Midnight Noir

I like Nickel Angelo
No, not the Painter.
The drug dealer
who deals on 34th & Main
They call him Nickel Angelo
because he will sell you
anything for 5 dollars
I met up with him on Saturday
to discuss the street stocks
and how much a kidney goes
for in these times
Now I’m on my way back
from 43rd & Main to watch
the glitter girls do their magic
on the stage.
I think I’ll stop in the alley
near my house and do
some of this Benzadrine.
